Shipping & Returns

Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges

What's your shipping policy?

Noteworthy Selections is committed and dedicated to getting your order safely to your destination in a timely fashion. 

All orders require a signature confirmation. Wine requires Adult Signature confirmation.

We do not leave deliveries at the door or unattended.

We usually ship all items within 5 business days of receiving your order. Please consider this turnaround time when placing your order. If you need it to arrive by a specific day, please write this in the notes or, contact us directly prior to placing your order.

The majority of our orders are shipped via UPS, or DHL for International. This means that in-stock items will arrive five to seven business days after receiving your order. This allows our vendors the time it takes to hand craft your order, and ship it from their respective locations via the shipping service established.

Weekends and holidays are not business days and cannot be used to estimate the arrival date. Ground shipping is NOT guaranteed for a certain date, therefore, there will be no refunds for early or late arrivals. We are not responsible for any delivery delays due to third parties or carriers. Orders are usually processed within five business days after we receive them.

Shipping of Non-Perishable Foods

Non-perishable items are shipped via UPS or DHL for international customers. You may choose to upgrade to expedited shipping at checkout.

To avoid additional shipping costs for other items, please choose "More Shipping Methods," at checkout and you will receive a number of shipping options available to you based on your location (shipping address) per product. Here you can itemize which products you want shipped with a little less urgency (UPS Ground) and others with more urgency such as Next Day delivery.

Wine Shipping: During extreme heat or cold conditions, wine is treated as a perishable item. We recommend selecting 1-day shipping for wine orders during these months. 

Note: Ground shipping does not guarantee the date of delivery. Therefore, there are no refunds or claims possible for late arrivals. If you require your order to arrive on a specific date, we suggest you choose the Next Day Air method and then pick the delivery date you prefer.

Address Accuracy

ADDRESS ISSUES, MISSED/REFUSED DELIVERIES, OTHER DELIVERY ISSUES:

We ship your order to the address that you provide us. It is the customer's responsibility to specify both correct and complete information. Should the address be incomplete or incorrect, your shipment may be delayed, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges. The determination of the delivery driver as to the deliverability of a package shall be final. We will not have any responsibility for late or non-delivery of goods arising from incorrect delivery information being provided.

Availability to Receive Shipments


It is also the customer's responsibility to make themself available to receive a shipment with signature confirmation required.

Failure to do so may cause a delay in the shipment, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges if returned to us.

Lost or Missing Shipments


In the event that you do not receive a shipment, you must notify us within 3 calendar days of the scheduled delivery. Failure to do so compromises our ability to locate the missing package, and as a result claims for a lost package reported after this period will not be honored.


We will not be responsible for any lost package marked as "delivered" by the carrier. However, we will investigate the issue and do our best to locate your package. If this happens, we will open a claim with the carrier and issue a refund only if the carrier grants the claim. This claim process usually takes around 4 - 6 weeks (the time lag is due to the response time of shipping carriers not Noteworthy Selections).

Do you offer refunds?

Please inspect delivered packages and products as soon as they arrive at your door.

Exchanges only, no refunds.

If your package has arrived damaged or tampered with, please contact the carrier first and then our Customer Service Department. Any delay in contacting the carrier and our Customer Service Department makes it more difficult to file a claim. Please keep ALL packaging and items EXACTLY AS THEY ARRIVED.

FOOD ITEMS: we offer up to 72 hours from the date you receive the order to inspect your food items. If we sent you a wrong item, a product is missing or the item is defective, we’ll send you a new one immediately. We’ll pay for the shipping cost.

Orders can not be canceled once they have been shipped. You have 24 hours from the time your order has been submitted to request a cancellation or, request an edit to your current order.

Are you able to fulfill large quantities for commercial buyers?

Yes. We are more than able to fulfill large order quantities for commercial buyers across all categories on offer. We welcome professional buyers to try out our selections. Many of your customers will be more than satisfied.

Do you offer recurring shipments?

Yes. We can setup monthly deliveries per your request, online/offline. Just let us know the products you want, the quantity you need, and the dates you require delivery.

Will you ship wine internationally?

Presently, our California wine selections are only available within the U.S.

How fresh is your coffee?

All coffee selections are roasted-to-order. We do not hold or store pre-roasted coffee in a storage facility or warehouse. Coffee is made to order and ships directly from the American Roaster or the Australian Roaster, depending on your order selection.
